Hello,
just wondered, that IPFS URI links are not clickable in Brave browser.
I have a lokal node running, IPFS-companion as a brave browser extension and everythink seems to work fine. But: When I find an IPFS URI (ipfs://…) on a website, the link is not clickable. I have to paste it manually in the address field of the browser, then it opens.
In IPFS companion I eneabled “Convert IPFS addresses into links” - but ipfs:// addresses on websites remain as text.
How to make IPFS-links clickable on websites?
in settings —-> ipfs: disable http gateway
Not good idea. If I disable IPFS-Gateway, the I can’t redirect IPFS resources to my lokal node.
Thank you, but where?
Thank you, but I didn’t ask how to use unstoppable domains.
it is the same settings - what OS / Brave version?
Manjaro Linux, Brave v1.59.124
I solved it: I deinstalled ipfs companion browser extension and reinstalled it - and everything was fine :-)
