I’m watching this pistons/bulls game. Ausar switched onto a red hot Zach Lavine (49 points) in the 4th and has put him in jail. Lavine had more turnovers than points after that point. I hope someone puts together a defensive highlight reel because this is one of the most impressive defensive performances I’ve seen by a rookie.
I somehow landed him at #7 in the rookie draft of my dynasty league this year and I’m so excited to see how well he’s played this year. If he’s able to find his shot he’s going to be an ELITE player in no time
Picked him up in fantasy and he has not disappointed yet. Looks so poised and some of the best BBIQ ive seen from a rookie.
I got him on my fantasy squad as well, picked him late in the draft and he’s been awesome. Rebounding machine
Rebound magnet too
After he got subbed in, he forced Lavine into a turnover, then a missed shot, drew a moving screen foul by defending Lavine 40 feet from the basket, then blocked his shot. Really helped seal the game for us
So should the pistons trade ivey? Seems like a waste for a top 5 drafted player to be a bench player and for ivey to better reach his potential.
Would make zero sense to trade him
Dude i need a highlight reel so bad. His defense was unbelievable to close out the game there.
Yeah, I was watching he’s amazing. Gonna be an extremely special player
Hes already an elite on ball defender.
He can guard at the point of attack, he can provide weakside rim protection. The kid is special, even if the jumper never comes, he’s gonna be a star.
Amazing rebounder as well
watching him rebound is insane. he’s so athletic and has crazy coordination/ball tracking skills. love this kid.
Young guys don’t often have a feel for the game like this, he’s gonna be special
I was very impressed. I’ve seen very few players bother Lavine like that. Off the top of my head Tybulle, Jrue, and to a lesser extend Dort and Advija. Defensive superstar potential.
I was watching the game saying the exact same thing, glad somebody posted this. definitely need the highlight reel he had lavine clamped
