I can see the idea. You always see these players with a towel thrown on their head. So some entrepreneur creates a towel purposefully made for that: a little more contoured, a string to hold it on. A cool design on the outside. And then you need to create knowledge of your product, so you pay an NBA player to wear it in a press conference.
