Brady never hesitates to mention how having Bill helped his illustrious career and vice versa, idk why his fans are obsessed with separating the 2

He’s seen what bad coaching can do to QBs, a bad coach and offensive line has killed many a QB in his career. It was Bill that kept Scar around and sculpted the defenses to help his prized QB. Placing everything on the QBs shoulders so young and inexperienced fails so often, they need to be put in proper care before being thrust into the role as franchise savior.

Its cuz pats fans can’t accept that their dynasty is well and truly over and belichik can’t just wave his hands and build a new dynasty.

It’s easy to build a new dynasty, just draft a mahomes. I don’t know why everyone doesn’t draft one.

This separation wasn’t a “Brady fans” thing – this was almost contrived by fans of other great QBs, particularly fans of Peyton Manning, almost exclusively to diminish Brady’s greatness. Until Brady went off and won a SB on his own, the main use of the separation was “well, Brady had Belichick, Rodgers/Manning would have won 10 with him”.

In my day, nobody ran around giving Walsh any substantial credit for Montana. Favre wasn’t s product of Mike Holmgren. Certainly nobody was calling Manning a product of Tony Dungy, who was a SB winning head coach before Manning.

What’s happening with Belichick right now happens with plenty of great coaches. Belichick’s rebuilding seasons in the past were often absurd 10+ win season and it’s more a function of a fan base that doesn’t understand that. It’s got more to do with personnel decisions in the last 4 seasons more than anything to do with Brady.
