Many folks tend to consider the loudness of a watch to be a negative. I kind of like it. My Timex Expedition tick-tocking is a joy. My Tissot Heritage ticking away is wonderful. I bought an Orient Mako the other day and you can hardly hear it if you stick your ear on the crystal, kind of a bummer. Maybe I’m crazy? When I open my watch box and can hear all the ticking it’s a cool little reminder that I have a box full of complicated tiny machines working hard.
