It sucks out there. I got a good job right out of university at a growing company which put me in a much better financial position than many of those around my age. I’m in my mid 30s and while i could afford a small place, the idea of owning a multiple bedroom place or a house just seems completely out of reach. Pretty much everyone I know that owns in my age range has two incomes and moved away from the city.

I don’t see how anyone younger than me has a chance to do it without help from family.
