Maguire grabs his wrist stopping him from turning. The fact the ball hits Maguire at so close range means nothing but ref probably didn’t want to make a decision on that so took the easy option of ball hit your hand… pen

It’s amazing how literally everyone here talking about the rules is wrong. This is a pretty clear call once VAR took a look. He reached out to grab the other player, which is not a “natural position”, and then the ball hit the arm. It could have been a penalty for the tug, too!
