It’s almost as if the Zebras just wanna ruin the fun. Imagine if this was the first time a kid was able to see Giannis in person? All that time, money, and effort to see your favorite player just for them to get the boot.

To eject Giannis over that, but a few days ago Draymond Green is allowed to run and yell at refs for 45 seconds and gets no tech for it is just a gross display of abusive power.

That’s a clear taunting technical on Giannis. Everyone’s being weird in these comments. That’s been a technical foul in the NBA for a long time now.

I dunno if Stewart has children, but if he does they will never fully emotionally recover from seeing what happened to papa.

I’d say the only fair punishment is the Bucks have to use the other Antetokounmpo’s till all star break, while Giannis sits courtside writing I’m sorry over and over on a chalkboard

I’m convinced that when Draymond runs up on refs, he’s actually asking about how their day is going and how’s their kids/family/etc because he keeps up with all of them in his offtime. He’s just gesticulating and making faces to put on a show for the cameras, but since he knows we can’t actually hear him he just has a normal ass conversation.

Too many refs seem to be too narcissistic. In reality in all sports, in the best officiated events, the refs are barely noticeable and they’re not factors in the outcomes.

So, serious talk, what‘a the reprimand for a shitty ref? Something like “Hey, you don’t ref game for the team/player you fucked up.”?

I don’t remember any ref ever getting canned. At least, not a high-profile one.

Lol I like Giannis but the state down is auto tech constantly it’s nothing like the Tim Duncan one. Giannis should know better or league needs to change rules . The Jax Hayes tech on using a natural swinging motion that cost the team going into ot was worse , I seen a few worse this year

I really wish this was handled a bit slower depending on what level of punishment your handing out. Normal foul? Play like normal. Tech? That needs to be reviewed. Ejection? That needs to come from home office to make that call. If nothing else it gives players a chance to cool off rather than just throwing gasoline on a bonfire.

They just wanted to set precedent that superstars are held accountable in a game they knew the Bucks would win anyway. This way they can give him 80 free throws next game and shrug.

Giannis should’ve gotten the tech. He was taunting ole boy after he dunked on him. I didn’t see the first technical foul though.

I get that it’s the rule but staring or winking is technical but the “too small” gesture is not?

Which one of those three are actual taunting

It would be funny if nba guys just said fuck it and played with no swag or fun. Just pure fundamentals. No dunks no crossovers two hand passes only
