Its been a big debate.

Wade was for the most part the first option on his team while Scottie played second fiddle to Jordon for nearly his whole career. Wade has a higher scoring average and assist average for his entire career compared to Pippen and was the focal point of his team. But considering Pippen’s accolades.

does it matter? I mean wade was first option for alot of his career, scottie wasnt. the small amount of games he was first option he still took the bulls to the playoffs, it also stunted his own growth if scottie was first option elsewhere I would say he would be even better.

Yeah wade is a scorer but they are also different positions, a SG and SF. Depends on your team needs scottie can also play the point and is a better defender than Wade and Scottie has more length, dare I say lockdown defender for a lot of positions even. Wade would struggle. With scottie you can surround him better than Wade, Wade will need help case in point supporting cast while with Scottie feed him a good shooter and he can also win a bunch too

Exactly. Is it theoretically possible Pippen could have had a season like that as the best player on a team in his prime? Sure. But he didn’t, and based on what actually happened, Wade clears pretty easily.

They’re both all time greats but Wade was in the best player in the world debate for awhile and Pippen never really entered that convo despite getting 3rd in MVP voting once.
