Would you rather have the career of a Kobe or Tim Duncan (winning titles with one team) or Lebron, Shaq, Kareem (winning titles with two or more teams)?

The dream is one team. That’s a legacy that lasts the test of time. One team shows a sacrifice and commitment, willing to put the city and team over the individual, it’s a marriage. Multiple teams is still greatness, but it’s more of a prize fighter, a bit of a selfishness (justifiable), a ronin.

With today’s NBA people bounce around on different teams too often. We only have Timmy, Manu, Kobe, Dirk, Haslem to retire with one team lately?

Future notable possibilities are only Myles Turner, Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Fox, Steph/Klay/Draymond, and?

Dame was my favorite loyal player of the bunch, but now he’s even on a new team (and rested vs the Pacers when I paid for tix mostly to see him).
