On the Real Ones Ringer podcast, Raja Bell mentioned some players are fountains, others are drains. This is a concept that I’ve heard before, most famously by David Griffin, GM of the Cavaliers during the second LeBron era.
Some players are fountains of energy. Others suck energy from the team.
I can speculate on some famous fountains: Magic, Pat Bev, Biyombo.But who are some drains? Who are players who suck energy from their teams?

Warriors - besides Steph, I think GPII is a big one. Absolutely a vibes guy. Juan Toscano Anderson used to be that too.
No real obvious drains this year which is one of the reasons they’re winning more than their talent would suggest. No real number 2 guy and so just grinding it out on insane Steph + everyone doing a small part.
