Sure this has been asked a millions times by a million twats like myself so ive done the bulk of the work.

From england and I have 1% ball knowledge.

Okay the 4 teams ive narrowed it down to that i could see myself supporting are…

Clippers Sixers Grizzlies Suns

If i could get everyones thoughts to help me decide that would be appreciated. No i dont want to hear about how i should support your team instead.

Those are four poverty franchises dude. If I wasn’t cursed with mavs fandom and this was the year I choose a team it’d definitely be OKC. They’re going to be fun to watch for a decade.

Look into how they have a million draft picks in the next 5 years. They’re going to be young and dominant.

Have you ever played settlers of catan?

If your looking for an exciting team to watch, I’d choose the T-Wolves. They play really well together and Anthony Edwards is a walking highlight reel.

I was considering them at first and talked myself out of it but seems like i should maybe reconsider. Haven’t heard much about Edwards so ill have to have a look.

    1. Sixers: considering what they’ve been through the past few seasons, their success has been somewhat unexpected. They’ve got a good squad and nice playoff narrative
    2. Grizzlies: Young team with good players and a bright future, although we might not see it until a certain gun toting somebody returns.
    3. Suns: Fanbase can be negative/toxic due to high expectations of performance, but they’ve got some of the best scorers in basketball, so if you just want to watch entertaining basketball I’d choose them.
    4. Clippers: stacked the deck with stars of the 2010s, so they’ve got a lot of expectations put on them. Combine with the negative media coverage a lot of those star players get, this team almost has more to lose than it has to gain. Would be a great team if they figure it out, but may not be the place to start if you’re a new fan. Plus you’ve got those weirdos who play in the same stadium as you

This is solid info. Think the suns and grizzlies can be ruled out at this point. Forgot the clippers shared a stadium thats dead. Seems like everyone thinks the clippers will never work it out so you might be right on all accounts. Ill keep all of this in mind and watch the next few games.

I’m Portuguese and have been a sixers fan for almost 7 years now.

Reasons that made me choose the sixers:

    • As an eastern conference team, I can watch almost of their games live
    • Philly has a sense of grit and tenacity to it, kinda like that it’s a blue collared city and etc.
    • For most of their teams, even if the offense is not there, the defense is and I like that.
    • Joel Embiid

Reasons why now is a good time to get in the club:

    • Joel Embiid is currently in his prime, was MVP last season
    • We have a star in the making - Tyrese Maxey - who is probably the happiest player in the league and has a contagious energy
    • We just dumped an awful coach for a great one in Nick Nurse, and this year we’re playing some of the best basketball I’ve seen us play in recent years
    • Pat Bev and others bring a toughness to this team which I like
    • At the moment the vibes are immaculate

Choose an eastern conference team so the Sixers. You’ll be able to watch more of their games.

Clippers and suns will regularly play after 3am and its hard to watch

Look at their logos, history, names, colors, vibes and pick which one looks more sympatic among em. Or just pick Boston Celtics.
