As some of you already have seen the lemm.ee admins have announced that the instance is shutting down at the end of the month.
The question for us is where should we migrate next.
Returning to !football@lemmy.world is always an option, alternatively we could move to either another established and stable lemmy instance or migrate to a piefed instance.
Piefed instances federate with lemmy instances as normal, and it allows for adding flairs to community posts and users, something not yet implemented on Lemmy. I haven’t tried Piefed myself yet so I would need to dig more into it if it is a popular option.
Ultimately the choice for our next destination is up to you guys!

The instance has been running almost two years already, it is an instance exclusively for football communities and I can potentially customize it if you come up with any reasonable idea, a matchthreader bot? Integration with a Matrix room? All possible.
