The Bulls lost by nearly double digits and it still feels like one of those games where the score makes the game look closer than it was. There are a lot of issues with this team but one of the biggest is that in games where DeMar and Zach don’t have it there’s not back-up plan.

I’ll take an optimistic view and say that while the Giannis & Dame minutes have been underwhelming, they’re still winning with them both on the court and I have confidence they’ll get on the same page at some point.

The Bulls current rotation is two centers, one 6’7" wing, and seven guards basically. Torrey Craig at the “4” has actually done a good job rebounding for them, but this lack of a real 4 is why Giannis and Portis feast on them.

It wouldn’t be the worst thing if 5 of those seven guards were high level offensive talents. As it stands it’s 7 guards and most of them are pass first defenders.

Only some of them are pass-first, three of our starters (LaVine, DeMar, Coby) are definitely score-first guys with tunnel vision, and that’s been a huge problem

Dame, Lavine, and DeMar combine for 11/50 (22%).

Luckily, Giannis laughs at this jump-shooting meta.
