Here’s a couple of mine:
Jaguars-Lions: I think a lot of people want this. Imagine if they both went to the Super Bowl for the first time together, with these current teams. Which big cat goes 1-0 and which big cat goes 0-1 in the SB?
Vikings-Bills: The last time these two teams faced off, it was a SHOW. Which team will go 0-5 in the SB?
Seahawks-Dolphins: Yes I’m a Hawks fan, but I always felt like Miami would be such a fun matchup. Two aquatic themed teams on opposite sides of the country, some insanely fast players and talented receiving corps on both teams, Jalen Ramsey facing off against his old rival team, I’d be happy seeing my Hawks in a SB regardless of who it is, but I feel like this one would be entertaining.
Inviting disaster, but Broncos-Eagles
Either we finally have a win against the NFC East, or all four East teams have beaten us in the Super Bowl, and thus would be h I s t o r I c
Living in Cincinnati, I need a Bucs Bengals Super Bowl.
It’s also kind of crazy that we were only two games away from that being a reality in 2021.
Lions Jags
Lions Browns
DETROIT VS EVERYBODY!?
I’d take Lions Browns. Lions get to be happy or everyone gets to be miserable.
Raiders vs Niners. The Niners have played every team in the AFC except them. The raiders left the bay and hopefully a Super Bowl win over them solidifies who’s the Bay Area team.
This make me wonder:
Are there any other Super Bowl matchups where one could confidently say “People will literally be killed as a result of this game”?
Jokes on you, Niners choke, Raiders win, Al smiles up at them
up
🤣
Riots in Santa Clara fo sho
Bears vs Jets
Two franchises cursed by usually having a great defense but a mediocre QB situation
Mediocre? I’d KILL for mediocre.
I’ll go one better.
Bears vs Browns.
The narratives around that game would be fascinating. Two of the oldest franchises with great history and a lot of pain.
Fields vs…that guy. The questions during SB week interviews would be spicy.
2010 we came this close to Mark Sanchez vs Jay Cutler
Be honest r/nfl did you really wanna see Pittsburgh Green Bay? Wouldn’t it be way funnier if Aaron Rodgers won nothing and we got this Super Bowl?
I want to see a rematch of Super Bowl 3. Jets vs colts in the big game winner take all round 2.
Steelers-Eagles, play in Harrisburg.
It was so close a couple times in the early 2000’s; in 2001 both teams lost in the championship game, in 2004 the Eagles made it to the Superbowl but the Steelers lost the championship game and in 2008 the Steelers made the Superbowl but the Eagles lost the championship game this time.
Chiefs/Packers - SB I rematch.
Dolphins - Raiders
Shame we never got the Brady patriots vs cowboys
Great. I don’t need anymore TB Super Bowls.
Steelers/Eagles - at State College and it’s a white out.
And tickets have to be sold at student rush prices?
Texans vs anyone would be cool
Chiefs and Cowboys. The original Dallas team Vs. The current Dallas team.
One of the few matchups where non Chiefs fans would still want us to win. While I’d love to see us play the Lions, I’d HATE to see this sub and the media in general if a single flag goes our way in that game lol. On the one hand, losing to the Lions would feel better than losing to anyone else because of what the Franchise has been through. On the other, EVERY non Chiefs fan would be cheering for the Lions.
Always thought that would be a great game, just visually.
from a money standpoint, the nfl would be loving this.
I have been obsessed with that Monday night football game between the Jared Goff rams and Mahomes chiefs. I would love a chiefs lions Super Bowl
I will always vote for kitty bowl.
Giants-Jets in MetLife
I think about this every week.
