Hutchinson often dances at Ford Field wearing a Honolulu blue jersey, a silver helmet and eye black on one side of his face that he says prepares him for war. It starts above his eyebrow and reaches a point on his cheek around his mouth.
Not long ago, however, he was dancing at his home stadium wearing a pastel shirt and jorts — a tribute to Taylor Swift’s “Lover” album. Hutchinson was in a private suite for the Eras Tour concert with family and friends, including some little girls.
None of the other Swifties in the suite were more animated than Aidan. “He peaked that night during ‘You Belong With Me’ and ‘Love Story,’” his sister Mia says.
It’s actually somewhat common practice for football players to do ballet and/or yoga to help their balance, limberness, etc.
I imagine every pro athlete does yoga at this point
tbh everyone should do yoga. The two exercises I want to do until the day I die are yoga and golf
Good on Hutchinson! Will pay off over his career, flexibility is so underrated. A few years back my spring season suitor in ballet was a player on the Jets, and two of his teammates were part of the season as well. Won’t reveal any names but was impressed by how much they applied themselves to it. And it’s always a fun surprise to see a pro from any sport in my Pilates classes.
I always thought Marshawn Lynch in his prime would have also been good at ballet. His nimbleness was always something to behold.
Barry Sanders did tap dancing I believe.
Alex Collins did Irish dancing.
A lot of Irish and Scottish dances can get pretty damn strenuous.
Wouldn’t say ballet is common. Yoga, yes but every athlete does that.
