I don’t still don’t get how this is evidence he lied. Read an Inquirer article that said Philly is horrible with this crime specifically"

“Philadelphia has twice as many traffic deaths per capita as compared with peer cities like New York and Boston. Each week, an average of five children are hit by a car while walking in our city.”

“NBC10 investigation put the number of annual hit-and-run collisions at over 10,000, a rate of roughly 40 per day.” From 2019 numbers

I’m not saying he isn’t lying but its not like this or anything released yet proves he is. If anything, the police response was unnecessary and semi victim blaming a person who isn’t from the city. It creates the doubt and it makes the case a public back and forth when the focus should be just on the solving. Philly has a horrible track record of solving hit and runs specifically, so I am sure they dislike the added heat to find a perp.

Why do people think him riding a bike means it’s his fault? He could’v easily gotten clipped by a driver.

It just said he was a pedestrian, which biking can sometimes be considered pedestrian. Also, maybe he was done biking and was walking his bike home.
