The topic of how players adapt to the modern game is pretty common, but I generally hear how centers from the 2000s with their heavy post play and lack of an outside shot wouldn’t do well in today’s NBA. I’m wondering who you guys think are guards from that era who would have difficulty adjusting to the current NBA today.

    Remember, recent rule changes opened up the offense to allow more scoring. Guards today are pretty much free to roam around unencumbered. Someone like Iverson wouldn’t have to adjust his 3pt shooting because he’d be attacking the rim with more impunity than before, now that we’ve got big men out on the perimeter.
