Jokic hasn’t had less than 22 points OR 10 rebounds in a game this season. His consistency is unmatched.

What a bunch of monsters all these guys are. I used to say the NBA would be boring when Bron, Steph and KD leave, but it sure as fuck looks like it’s in great hands.

If Doncic can get Dallas to finish in the top three in the West, I quietly fancy him. A lot of people didn’t even have the Mavs making the play-offs this season.

Which was a dumb take to begin with, but we’ll see. People REALLY didn’t want Kyrie to work out so much that they just forgot about how terrifying that duo could really be with time to gel.

Aside from that, I don’t think people expected Lively to raise the ceiling of this team so much so quickly.

Yeah. I’m a Luka fan boy, if the season ends today Jokic has to be MVP. His stats are insane and the nuggets have the best record in the league.

That said, I’m still hopeful Luka wins it this year. It’s a long season.

Mavs fan here. I don’t see how Luka can ever win mvp when jokic is this good lol. I guess if the Mavs finished higher in the standings that’s about it.

My first thought when seeing this was man what does Luka gotta do to lead MVP because he’s been nuts. Then I realized Jokic is putting up 30/14/8.

I think SGA is a better player but I think Haliburton should be 5th for now, the Pacers being the number one offense with, I guess, Buddy Hield as the second best offensive player on the roster, is pretty insane

When you guys start to really gel, with Booker coming back, you guys will really be a force to reckon with. We always played badly against you guys in the regular season. Adding KD who’s still playing MVP level basketball. Plus Booker, plus the amazing depth you guys have. I know we “trashed” you guys in the playoffs but fuck me man, your team is probably the best in the league at the moment.

The talent in the league is insane at this moment. You got the old guard in Steph and Lebron who would be having MVP if it wasn’t for the amazing young players. You got Luka, SGA, Tatum, Haliburton, Young, Banchero, Wagner etc. And now you got these two amazing unuicorn players in Chet and Wembanyana. And that’s just touching the tip of the iceberg. I always like to root for other teams because of players I like (like SGA for example) but I find myself watching highlights for almost every game because every team has at least one player or more that I root for.

The Suns have to win more for either guy to get in the conversation (and Book needs to be healthy) but KD and Book’s stat lines and shooting splits are both right up there. And even not considering team records or Book’s small sample size, Joker would still be the easy choice. He is just a machine. When do we start talking about where he ranks all-time?

I remember when 25-5-5 was this rare air that maybe 1-2 players a season would reach and LeBron’s consistent 27-7-7 was mind blowing. Now it’s like a prerequisite to be in the MVP race.

Has defense gotten significantly worse in the last 10 years or are we just witnessing generational offensive players? If these players each averaged these stats for a whole season it would historic seasons for all of them compared to other players in the past. Im seriously wondering if the defense is worse now or are the players just insane right now.

Assuming a healthy season from Jokic, it’s realistically going to take 65+ win seasons from Celtics, Mavs, or Sixers for Tatum/Luka/Joel to win.

I don’t think Dallas or Philly is good enough to do that, and while I wouldn’t totally rule it out for Boston, it’s still a very tall order.
