He’s averaging 20.5/5.2/3.7 on 56% TS this season. Solid numbers but not what we have come to expect from him. Instead of playing like the superstar he once was, he’s playing like a glorified Khris Middleton.

He’s 32 which is right around the point where a lot of stars fall off anyway. Did his latest injury in the playoffs end his prime?

    I would wait a few months before saying anything more definitively in either direction. If he came out of the gates hot, all people would say is that he’ll be injured the next game, and it’ll mean nothing. He could have a hyper efficent game tonight, and this post will look ridiculous.

    Ten games in just isn’t a large enough sample size to determine anything, frankly. I know people love being reactionary and in the moment, but the NBA season is a journey, not a sprint.
