I want to buy ticket to a game for my husband for Christmas. He is a fan of Miami Heat, but it’s not possible to go to Miami atm. So, I was hoping I could find a game in the northeast that is playing and hopefully it won’t disappoint him too much.

The concern I have is that I don’t know how the game works and I’m worried that if I buy tickets for a game in January, the teams might not make it to that game and it will get refunded.

Would it be dumb of me to buy tickets 2 months in advance? Also, would you as a nba fan still want to watch a game if it wasn’t your team playing?

We went to an Atlanta hawks and Charlotte hornets game on a lark when we were younger and it was awesome.

If you can pick a majority black city to see a basketball game do it, they just have more fun. Atlanta Detroit DC - the party in the seats between game time is just as fun as the game if not more so if you aren’t committed to the team.

But then my wife got us tickets to more bball games - can’t really go anymore with a kid on the way but it’s such a great gesture. It’ll be a blast no matter where you go.
