His numbers are fantastic and all but I’m finding it odd how much he’s dominating the basketball ref mvp thing.

Is his 29.7/14.1/9.2/64.9% TS really that much better than Luka’s 30.7/7.9/8.1/64.0% TS? I’d argue 64% as a PG is more impressive than 65% as a C.

and it’s not team records. Both the Nuggets and the Mavs are 9-3. but basketball ref’s mvp thing has Jokic at #1 with 78% odds and Luka at #5 with 2% odds.

It’s not so much that Jokic is ahead that weirds me out, I can see that, but for it be by such a wide margin doesn’t make sense.
