Ugh. I can’t stand this guy, but I have to give him credit, he’s playing incredibly well.

if Luka could hit free throws like Embiid (88%) he’d probably be on his way to his 2nd scoring title. yes man, everything is about Luka. he is a beautiful man. have you seen Luka Doncic?
damn Chet is a beast.
Thunder soon 11-5. within striking distance ;)
that’s definitely an assist. scorers error if it wasn’t counted as one. they’ll probably fix it.
Holmgren appears to be a better player as of right now. I will agree that the context of their ages is very important. 21 to 19 is a big deal in this context. Wemby could (should) be significantly better than he is now at 21.
Maybe? It doesn’t seem beyond the realm of possibility.
Surprised by just how good this guy is and also concerned by how good OKC looks. They’re now tied for #1 in the West (as far as GB anyway.)
His numbers are fantastic and all but I’m finding it odd how much he’s dominating the basketball ref mvp thing.
Is his 29.7/14.1/9.2/64.9% TS really that much better than Luka’s 30.7/7.9/8.1/64.0% TS? I’d argue 64% as a PG is more impressive than 65% as a C.
and it’s not team records. Both the Nuggets and the Mavs are 9-3. but basketball ref’s mvp thing has Jokic at #1 with 78% odds and Luka at #5 with 2% odds.
It’s not so much that Jokic is ahead that weirds me out, I can see that, but for it be by such a wide margin doesn’t make sense.
I’m pretty excited to see France play in the Olympics next year. Gobert & Wemby as twin towers is going to be wild. It’s crazy that Embiid could have chosen to play with them too. Can you imagine a starting lineup with all 3 of them?
Jokic is making a joke of these stats. His current splits are absurd (29/13/9) and that’s with that game he got thrown in the 2nd quarter. He’s somehow managed to get even better. My heart wants to argue Luka for MVP my brain sees the numbers he’s putting up and can’t argue with Jokic.
