Box Score

PJ Tucker struggled mightily against the Rockets tonight: 15 MINS, 0 PTS, 0 REB, 0 AST, 0 STL, 0 BLK, 3 PF, -24 +/-. He is a cumulative -61 in his tenure as a Clipper.

So when they say PJ Tucker “does all the little things” what do they mean exactly?

I think this is a good moment to bring up a comment I saw in the offseason saying PJ Tucker was more likely to average 20 PPG this year than Scottie Barnes making all-NBA. That is all.

Morey giving PJ that contract and then trading him is mind boggling. Morey is either the dumbest or the shrewdest operator in the league. Guy has no middle ground

You just don’t get it. He’s going to clamp up Kd of defense in the playoffs and bring his average down from 39 ppg to 37.6 ppg.

It hurts to say because eff the Heat, but I wish he’d never left the Heat. Spoelstra used him so well and had him doing actual basketball stuff and then he went to the 76ers and it was back to being sit in the corner and defend.

Heat did that stuff because they don’t have offensive star creator more overall good player types. Running offence through pj is never ideal pretty sure heat defence has always led the way . Pj is just mega washed

Heat PJ was one of my favorite role players ever. He was awesome that whole year and it feels like a crime that he wasn’t a Heat guy for more than one season.

It was a match made in Heaven. I grateful for what we were able to get out of him in that one year.

He was super inflential in our playoff run to the championship and got him a ring though.

I guess I dont know his heat days and ive only mildly pay attention to him when we play him, hes definitely not a box score friendly player and certianly has his roles lol.

He was definitely a large part of the championship, won’t ever dispute that, he just had a very, very limited role on the Bucks and it was fun to see him get to play outside of rebounding and standing in the corner not shooting.

He’s 38 dude. Had no business being in the league this long in the first place.

Dude won a championship as a contributor. He’s found his role early and did it well. That’s what gets you paid long term.

He played well in the playoffs last year and did the all shit in theory he’s supposed to. But he is not worth that contract and is mostly useless during a regular season

Michael Jordan hasn’t won an NBA game in years. So when they say Michael Jordan “is the GOAT” what do they mean exactly?

He was valuable in the playoffs for sixers last season.

He breaks free loose balls, makes the top scorers uncomfortable and gets in his teammates faces when needed. He even hit corner 3s in the game 6-7 losses. 5-13 from 3.

He just can’t do it all season.

Playing in a lineup with a center and Westbrook is just a disaster for everyone.
