In my studio I am wanting to hang a 12’ x 12’ frame in the air, hooked with cords or something from the ceiling.
I am looking to have the frame permanently hanging in the ceiling above, to be able to reduce the need to rig it with 2 rollers.
What hooks would need to be installed into the ceiling ? And would safety cables have the frame swaying and moving all the time, or should I hook it with solid rods somehow?

Are you going to mount lights behind it? If so how do you plan to move the frame? What kind of ceiling is it?
Lots more information needed to give an answer. Try searching for ceiling mount on B&H for some options. They make track systems for lights or you can just use any old hanger.
Why use the foldaway frame? The standard frame is cheaper and probably lighter, without all the hinges and gimmicks. Permanent rig? I’d have to see the space. Hire an experienced Key Grip to rig it right and safety it off, of course.
