I don’t watch many Knicks games but this caught my eye, just last game he went 6/10 from 3 but only 10/23 from the field.

I’d wager this is more a fluke than anything, but 12 games in and no signs of this progressing to the mean seems weird.

For reference, he’s a career 53% shooter from 2 and 39% from 3

He’s shooting 44% at the rim lol, he’s making 68% here in his career, is he playing hurt or something ?

he’s got nothing on deanthony melton, who is shooting almost twice as well from 3 (42%) as he is on layups (23%)

A lot of shots that he was automatic on last year just aren’t going down, I think as the season progresses it will go back up

He’s been getting to exactly his kinds of shots in the paint, all of those pivots and fades and floaters and up-and-unders, they just haven’t been falling so far. Seems to me like it’s just a cold streak that he’ll get past, which will probably just end up balancing out with his 3pt% coming back to earth. It’s a very different feeling from Randle’s slow start, where he really was just chucking up terrible shots and needed to change his approach.

Saw a stat that the knicks are shooting a crazy low percentage at the rim but still have a positive net rating.

Is it really that shocking that a smaller guard is shooting better than finishing
