I think people forget the extent to which Rudy Gobert was playing basketball on a Nerf hoop in 2019. Despite averaging barely over half of Shaq’s scoring in 2000 (his highest scoring season) and playing only two more games, Rudy Gobert set the record for most dunks in a season since it’s been tracked in 1996-97.
