He’s not manufacturing anything, this is who he is. The press OTOH is perfectly happy to report on one stupidity and then abandon it for the rapidly arriving following ones.
Everything is a distraction from everything else. It’s incredibly effective and I’m not surprised it works this well. The country’s attention span seems to be about 3 days before they forget something and move on.

Thats unfair to toddlers. My toddler has a much greater attention span than Trump.
