      Pretty common in India/Pakistan too. Especially Panjabi people.

      Multi-generation living is pretty common and honesty a necessity in some parts of the world for real estate.

      Yupp did until I was 26. My wife even lived with us, but I waited till I had a house. No way was I being a married man in my moms house 😂.

      My good friend’s step dad is Italian. The step dad literally worked 30 years as a public school teacher, retired, and waited until his Italian mom passed before moving out and finally marring my friend’s mom. Crazy stuff.
