I live in Italy, we use type C, F, and L plugs. They can all be flipped around so this means that if a socket is only switching one pole, while it’s true that connected appliances would be off, the live pole might still be connected. I have very specific requirements where I cannot allow that situation to happen, so I’m looking for a smart socket that will disconnect both neutral and live, and I’m pretty sure that most of them do not do this.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Don’t have a solution for you. Might be quite big and bulky with two relays in it where 99% of people might not need such devices.

There are some products out there for switching live+neutral at the same time, for example norway requires it in areas where there is risk of water, like bathrooms and kitchen (close to the sink) because some part of norway have two off phase live wires instead of live+neutral.

I have never seen plugs, but I’ve seen puck dimmers and relays certified for switching neutral+live in norwegan wet areas. If you want to build on such a puck.
