Makes me glad the bulls use NBC sports with Adam and Stacy (best commentary IMO).
Director doesn’t understand the game
It happened to us last game I think it was.
Ant probably figured “I can do that…”
It’s not just Bally. There’s a trend in NBA broadcasting that drives me absolutely insane. They’ve decided that after a made shot, everything until the other team dribbles the ball up and arrives at their 3 point line is just irrelevant bullshit, and the perfect time to pull in for a nice tight shot of somebody’s face on the sideline as they stare off wistfully into the distance.
The NBA continues to feel like a league that still needs to catch up on the NFL. Comparing the two and the NBA always feels like a hobbyist broadcasting than it does a professional league. Even down to the media just purposefully wording shit stupidly to become a copy-pasta or willfully causing drama against their players
Stadium was hype but they even missed it for a replay on the jumbotron, he juked all the production crews bad.
Broadcasts need to fucking stop cutting away during play. They miss plays every game, and it’s not just Bally that does this. It’s fucking infuriating. I don’t care about a close-up of a guy who just made a shot, I want to watch the fucking game!
More of a “production crew in the truck” fuck up than a technical Bally’s problem, which is also prevalent. Idk, feels like a slight but necessary distinction
The wolf howling during the replay…People used to joke about the Wolves being spooky but I’m legitimately frightened of this team.
Overall Grady is fine, but just a little more emotion would be nice sometimes.
This is commentary on a replay rather than a live reaction, he’s way more subdued than usual here.
What annoys me more is that they don’t even show us the ref giving a challenge result. Even if they aren’t back from commercial yet, at least give us a replay of it when we get back from commercial.
Is this the so called non biased non corny announcers? Seem so fun and full of energy
not really a ‘Bally problem’
He’s just a kid in the candy store having fun.
