I mean the guy gets $40 million, and it’s not like he’s doing exceptionally well. He’s putting up 16-4-9, while teammate Sengun (makes $3.5 million) puts up 21-9-6; also keep in mind Vanvleet plays 37 minutes compared to Sengun’s 32 minutes a game. Obv I understand Sengun’s salary is so low because of his rookie contract, but I can’t wrap my head around how VanVleet makes that much money for slightly above average stats. yall agree or nah?

    VanVleet is getting paid big bucks for mediocrity? Sounds like he’s living the dream. Must be nice to get paid that much for just being okay at your job. Just saying, give me $40 mil and I can put up slightly above-average stats too. But hey, what do I know? I’m just a random redditor who barely graduated high school before dropping out of community college.
