You can’t blame everything on dropped balls and lackadaisical wide receivers. Is it the offensive scheme and losing Bienemy as OC? Mahomes’ numbers are way down too this season, it’s like they don’t push the ball downfield like they used to do, the game against the Eagles is a microcosm of their entire season, they come out looking like the Chiefs of old and then just lose focus or playcalling becomes extremely conservative?

I think you can, I think it is perfectly reasonable to blame the receiver who dropped a game-winning pass that hit him on both palms and all 10 fingers, for not winning the game

They probably have the worst WR group in the league, which is impressive when teams like the Patriots and Giants exist. Hard to have a good offense like that.

The chiefs schedule is a fucking joke. Hardest team they played was and is the eagles and they just lost to them. Their defense is C tier at best and the only real offensive weapon on their team is Travis Kelce. They their team as a whole isnt very good.

I think you put all the blame on Andy Reid. Chiefs have to fire him at this point. He’s over the hill and you can’t risk losing the locker room. They should further punish him by forcing him to be the Bears head coach.

Most of the comments blame only the receivers but i do think your point on downfield throws is valid. Just watch one commanders game and compare it to any chiefs game this season. Bieniemy clearly has no reservations on whipping shit 50 yards+ on any given play, even if his qb dies on the field.
