The problem is that doing anything great requires a lot of sacrifices. Risk to life and limb,broken relationships, broken families, that sort of thing. Journalism isnt different. Wanna report on Gaza? You’ll have to live in the area for a good while, maybe even years. Long and unstable hours, lots of stress, possibly shitty pay.

Most people just go for the easier jobs
