2nd year player should not be eligible for RotY. So many Rookies have sat out an entire season just because they had some minor injury. And instead of missing a few month they just sat out the entire year so they can win the RotY next year.

Traveling and Training with a NBA Team for a whole year is a huge advantage.

I haven’t seen every Wemby game but I don’t think he is using the height advantage much when hes chucking 3s.
