Doubt the magic can sustain their record but the other 4 can stay near the top for sure barring massive injuries

The East is sort of weak again

Celtics, Bucks, and 76ers are definitely going to be in the top 5 unless there’s a major injury. Miami’s definitely a playoff contender but they could go either way. I could see them falling out of the top 5 eventually but remaining in the playoffs. I highly doubt Orlando stays in the top 5 though.

You guys 100% deserve some respect this season, yall got one hell of a young squad. I can see yall winning 30-40 games and making the playoffs

Magic won 34 games last year after a 5-20 start (many injuries). We are shooting way higher than 30-40 wins.

It’s too early. The Wizards in 2021-22 started 10-3, and then finished 35-47. Although most of these teams are a good bet to stay in the top 5. I think Orlando eventually falls out but only because there’s just so much talent in the East. Their depth could keep them on top though.

Call me a doubter, and I’d love to be proven wrong because I llke Paolo, but I think Magic might be like the 2018-19 Grizzlies. Great start, but eventually goes back to normal.

But defense is more sustainable than offense and their defense is great, and I also don’t remember the reasons the Grizzlies regressed after their hot start that season so I’m probably wrong about this.

Celtics will be up there. Wouldn’t shock me if any of the others fall out. Bucks will most likely be the 2, but something isn’t quite right in Milwaukee.

Sixers outplayed their abilities early. Maxey was scorching hot and Oubre played out of his mind. At some point Embiid will miss a stretch. They could slide.

Magic aren’t that good and Heat are such a wildcard.

It’s early. Long way to go.
