LMAO did y’all miss the “I’m sure I’ll see him at a game 7 somewhere, that’s how it always works”
Greatest line from CP ever.
Adam Silver about to unleash a fury like the crashing of a thousand waves
If by fury like the crashing of a thousand waves means quietly fine cp3 25-50k and then pretend nothing ever happened then sure.
Adam Silver is a Golden GOD
“and I’ll proceed the choke the game away with or without him there”
CP playing 4D chess right now putting foster and NBA on blast to the point it’s literally unethical to be putting Foster to ref any playoff game CP involved in.
Which quite frankly Foster shouldn’t ref key games if there’s legit history of animosity.
The nba doesn’t give a hoot if they did they would have kicked him out with Tim
The BEST case scenario (from the leagues perspective) is that Scott foster “knows where the bodies are buried” and thus can’t be fired. The WORST case scenario is that you have a clearly biased ref, continuing to be clearly biased, and the league couldn’t give fewer shits.
Either way Scott foster should not be reffing anymore.
Realistically the truth probably lies somewhere in between those two scenarios.
Ikr, people rly think that the refs arent doing what the league office tellls them. Tim got booted because he was doing his own thing.
I feel like a star player could just start a beef with any ref that doesn’t give them the whistle they want. Very bad precdent.
That’s exactly how it is right now except the refs can start beefs with star players that get so bad EVERYONE knows about it, but the league does nothing
If you don’t think the game’s been corrupt since the 80’s, I’ve got a timeshare to sell you
It’s perfectly accepted that stars get game altering calls. NBA closer to WWE than NFL
On the other hand imagine the ratings for a game 7 Chris Paul game reffed by Scott Foster lol
I feel like Chris Paul played this well. If the league doesn’t address this, it’s going to blow up in their faces.
CP3 at the end of his career does not give a shit. Love it
CP3 the 2nd running down on Scott Foster Jr might be the story that breaks the NBA
Lmao idk why but “CP3 the 2nd” cracked me up
Whats crazy as well is you could tell CP3 wanted to say so much more but had to hold back to try and avoid getting fined. I really hope he someday just tells the whole story and rips the NBA and Scott Foster a new one.
Not even a huge CP3 fan but damn that would be juicy.
I can see the Netflix documentary in the works already

I don’t get how leagues have CBAs with officials that require them to keep clearly incompetent officials. MLB has Angel Hernandez, Foster in the NBA, I would guess the NHL has one as well, I just don’t follow closely enough. NFL has actually fired people but has a whole different issue with officiating at large.
I don’t get how leagues have CBAs with officials that require them to keep clearly incompetent officials.
The more egregious part is that they don’t, actually. The CBA they have with the refs assoc specifically lays out that the NBA has the sole authority to dismiss officials that they find don’t meet the standards and score below a certain threshold on end of season evaluations. There is absolutely an avenue to get rid of incompetent officials, the league just chooses not to.
NHL has one, that’s how Tim Peel wasn’t immediately fired for getting hot mic’d saying he was looking for something to call against a specific team during a game. He got a 2-week early retirement where they didn’t schedule him.
That one was more of an open secret than anything but yeah should’ve been fired.
NHL ref Wes McCauly has personal beef with the coach of the Maple Leafs. It’s actually pretty similar to this situation with CP3
How tf is chris pauls son involved in any of this? And how tf is father Paul involved? Lmfao whats going on.
Lol that’s what I really wanna know. CP’s son would’ve been so young back when CP was on the Clippers. Wtf did Foster say to involve him??
As a warriors fan I’d say foster is annoying but actually a pretty good ref especially in the playoffs. One of the few that doesn’t get swayed by home crowds.
That ejection was BS though
It’s actually crazy to me to realize that without Scott foster, CP3 and Harden would of had rings by now.
I’m pointing the obvious out like I said take as you wish … FYI I’m not a warriors fan or hater just a regular human with eyes and common sense that likes the NBA.
Is anyone else having difficulty watching r/nba clips on Reddit?
