Even if they aren’t laterally quick the sheer length of both of them still makes things difficult if they’re active and extending their arms.

that’s the thing that would drive me crazy watching KAT basically any other season. like, he’s 7’0" tall, huge wingspan, maybe a little slow getting into place but he’d just swipe at everything. just go up tall Karl. thankfully it seems to have clicked this season and it’s been awesome to watch

rudy has always been quicker on the perimeter than people realize. How many 7 footers can move like he can?

Earlier this season, the shotclock was at .7 seconds and Rudy sprinted from the left side of the point all the way to the right corner and blocked a 3 pointer. In 0.7 seconds…I was like wtf he can move that fast??

Milton was driving into the paint that are guarded not only by KAT and Rudy but other two defenders as well.

He damn sure knew he’s going to get demolished lol

Both Rudy and KAT have length and girth powering their D. Only top ballers would be able to overcome that.

I’m sorry but i can’t wait for the playoff time to come. I’m sure they won’t be able to handle Denvers ball movement.

Jokic will make the Wolves D collapse on him and he’ll start dishing out dimes. And if Minessota D ignores him he’ll punish you with his soft touch around the rim

Wolves are the only team in the west that can live with Jokic scoring, but take away those dump offs to Gordon. They even have great wing defense to make things harder for Murray

How tf is KAT so different this year?

Like totally different energy on defense I don’t get it, where has this been, and where did it come from? Was he genuinely just lazy before? Cuz I don’t think that’s the case. Did he learn how to be better,?

Stability. He’s had inconsistent training/coaching, different teammates and coaches almost every year, his roles changed, heck his entire position changed last year.

Now his role is more clear, he’s had the same coach for 3 years and there’s stability. Stability is huge.

I think Rudy is also helping him and he’s in a defensive role that’s better suited for him (he doesn’t have to defend the rim and hold down the paint like before)

A no call foul doesn’t negate the whole highlight, Rudy’s defense out in space was awesome. That’s the main reason I posted this.

Dispel the myth that he can’t guard outside the paint and show that Wolves are using the bigs out, switch them, make them guard in space or defend the rim in tandem. It’s just a demonstration of the twin towers defending together

Tobias Harris has been in the league a decade and still doesn’t have a single move off the dribble.

And decides to hold the ball after his slight push off on Gobert when he could’ve hit the mid range open with the separation. It’s moments like this why people really believed he was traded for a box of cookies

Imagine in the future nba, every player on the team is this size, can handle the ball, and shoot the three.
