minus-squareeroticfoxxxy@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI know it’a not everyone’s favourite but I’d choose the 24-105
minus-squareGlen_Myers@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoThis is what I tell people. I would take the reach of f4 over the speed of a 2.8 most of the time.
minus-squareqtx@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI mean, Tamron has the 17-70mm APSC 2.8 which is 24-105 on FF.
minus-squareMuLLetDaDDie@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI just got the 90mm sp af f/2.8
minus-squarekermityfrog2@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI’ve been using the Tamron 28-200mm 2.8-5.6 and it’s a great all-rounder/vacation lens. This from also owning a 24-70 and 70-200 2.8 lenses.
minus-squareeroticfoxxxy@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoIt can do great portraits if you know how to stage people against backgrounds to force bokeh. It’ll never be as creamy, but honestly if you’re shooting portraits lower than 3.2 you can miss so many shots due to focus. If I had to choose ONE lens, this would be it.
minus-squaregbrldz@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoIf you’re Canon, you’re gonna love the 24-105 2.8. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1793385-REG/canon_rf_24_105mm_f_2_8_l.html
minus-squareIllustrious-Cherry12@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoSo expensive. And so big. I’ll stick with the Canon EF 24-105II f4…
minus-squaremarkyymark13@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoThat thing is the size of 70-200
minus-squareSnorlax46@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoAnd triple the cost. I’d rather have 3 $1000 lenses but that is the best answer to the question I’ve seen.
minus-squareTestFlightBeta@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoWhen on earth did this come out?
minus-squarecantwejustplaynice@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoThat lens is my workhorse. Although for me it’s paired with a .64x speed booster to use for video and it becomes a 30-135mm f/2.6 which is AMAZING.
minus-squareFlojani@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI’m so envious that Canon made a 24-105mm f/2.8. I don’t care that it’s $3,000 or heavy. I just wish Nikon would make one for their cameras now. Lol.
minus-squareeroticfoxxxy@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoOnly as an RF though. I’m not buying a new system just for 1.2f difference
