Probably two of my favorite players I’ve watched in my lifetime but in both of their primes, who are you taking? Why?

Put 2006 LT on this 9ers team in a 17-game season, then put CMC in the 2006 NFL (where the main highlight of Madden the year before was the addition of the “hit stick” amd Jacked Up was ESPN’s most popular NFL segment) and see what happens

LT gets 2500+ APY, McCaffrey is done for the year by week 7

Clearly lying as if you’d watched LT you’d know this isn’t even a question

Is McCaffrey in his prime? He’s never been healthy enough to be in his ”prime.”

This is pretty difficult. LT missed 3 games in 9 seasons with an extremely high powered Chargers offense that never won a damn thing. McCaffrey was 50% of Carolina’s offense, has missed way more time, and also hasn’t won anything. McCaffrey’s situation with the Niners is more comparable to LTs and the last season and a half has been fairly impressive.

LT avg 4.8 yards a carry while getting well over 300 touches a season

CMC avg 4.7 yards per carry while never hitting 300 touches a season

I think it’s closer than people want to admit and if you switch them up I don’t think LT shines in Carolina due to the personnel around him.
