With 102 receiving yards in a win vs the Jets, Tyreek hill gets up to 1324 receiving yards on the season, meaning he needs 676 receiving yards to be the first receiver to ever reach the 2k mark, an average of 113 per game for the rest of the season.

6 games left. 3 are Titans, Commies, and Jets again. End the season with the Cowboys, Ravens, Bills gauntlet. Only way 2k happens is if he puts up at least 130 yards in the next 3 games and grinds for 100 in the other 3

after watching cowboys/redskins yesterday, hill’s odds look pretty good.

I’m not trying to be biased, but he won’t get 100 against us. Bland will likely be covering him

If any of ya’ll are curious, the top 5 receivers are as follows:

    1. Tyreek Hill - 88 Receptions, 1324 Yards, 10 Tds
    2. Ceedee Lamb - 78 Receptions, 1066 Yards, 6 Tds
    3. A.J. Brown - 68 Receptions, 1013 Yards, 6 Tds
    4. Keenan Allen - 83 Receptions, 1011 Yards, 7 Tds
    5. Amon-Ra St. Brown - 82 Receptions, 993 Yards, 5 Tds

With the pace all these receivers are currently at, I can see Tyreek Hill getting to at least 2k, while Lamb & Brown hovering at around 1800 yards

imagine how much harder this is with only 16 game seasons

adding the 17th kinda sours these kind of records for me. much more attainable now

I hope he breaks it before the 17th game. They either need to separate the records out into the games played or average per game.

Even if he does it by week 17 which is still a great accomplishment I still feel Calvin Johnson record holds more weight as he did it with rules that doesn’t favor the offense as it does now days.

They better roll him across the line in a stretcher if he’s close, he can’t even play Fortnite rn
