      Said this elsewhere, but a lot of the time the lift is to reduce momentum. You can see it on Tatum, he’s looking around and trying to avoid an unsafe landing. It’s more complicated than just showboating

        No, it’s extremely easy to not lift the way most guys who are getting techs do. Like I said, go into a gym and run up to a pull up bar. It takes a lot more effort to pull yourself up rather than stabilize

            The safety of it is because it’s easy. There is zero danger to hanging for an athletic person. The techs are not for hanging
