My city demographics are about 80% white 20% Asian and the household income average is over 100k. It has changed a bit but it was fairly reliable GOP for a while. My polling place is walking distance from my house. If I am lazy I can drive and there is a massive parking lot. No lines, I have timed it, walking in to getting in the booth in under a minute. We are also (I was a poll worker a few years ago) able to brag that in the entire history of the provisional ballet system we have never once thrown out a vote. The goal is no eligible voter turned away.

The city next to mine is nearly all POC and reliable DNC, they have less places to vote, and every single election there are news reports of multiple hour long lines.

If voting didn’t matter they wouldn’t be working so fucking hard from denying it to certain groups. Vote vote vote!

I think the only people who vote in state elections are political nerds. The average person in Florida probably didn’t know that much about Desantis before he started trying to run for president.
