Udoka masterclass.
Ime teaching his unrelenting pressure in tough situations.
Villain Brooks is the difference
What having ime and Dillon brooks does to a team
Fred needs more credit for the defensive turn around too. Almost every player can shoot over him, but he impacts the team defense a lot. Off the ball you’ll see him being a pest finding ways to interrupt players who are trying to curl off of screens and get open. Warriors broadcasters even mentioned how much he was grabbing and hipchecking both Steph and Klay when they were moving off the ball. He also has some of the strongest hands in the league. Whenever he digs his hands into a player who’s driving and foolish enough to bring it low it’s almost always a steal.
Fred still has a very weak shot, but he’s passing very well.
Dillon Brooks effect
The Jeff green effect
He really has been great for us. Hitting big shots, making nice plays on d. Obviously a great mentor too.
Better coach. Alpernen a talent, FVV a great PG, team is playing like a bunch of JYDs
idk how anyone can argue against Ime coty if the Rockets end the season with a top 5 defense and playoff spot. This team went from last in the league to top 5 without adding any superstar in the off-season, think about that for a second. You can’t tell me anybody thought adding Dillon Brooks (who this sub said was heading to China) and FVV (who Raptors fans proclaimed the most selfish guy on a team) would shift their entire team defensively AND offensively to such a degree.
Just like we all expected right
