    That’s not technically a settlement since it’s not a case. But we all know what’s going to happen, her and/or her family will get paid, she’ll deny anything happening and he’ll be free. Welcome to America

    Well, there doesn’t appear to be a civil suit at the moment, and CA is a joke (resident here) when it comes to prosecution of famous people so I don’t even know if there’ll even be any criminal investigation…so I don’t know how/why he’d settle.

    Are you asking if he just pays her some hush money tomorrow? It’s not like she’s doing interviews and talking about it (outside of one rando social media post) so there’s nothing to “hush”.

    Even if he did pay her some hush-money (again, why?) no one would know because again…no formal legal proceedings have happened as of yet. He can stop talking about it and without any charges or lawsuits it’d just be a rando meme on r/nbacirclejerk 20 years from now.
