There’s a lot of looking the other way in those parts for the wealthy (and it’s one of the wealthier areas in all of CA).

Because he’s got a team with multiple All-NBA players and all-stars, and that same team has been to the ECF a couple times and the finals recently…it’s basically expected that they have one of the better records at this point.

Udoka and especially Mosley on the other hand have taken rosters with “less” talent (in terms of star power) that were probably expected to be 2 of the worst teams in the league again and they have them both playing extremely well, and in the Magic’s case they’re near the top of the East.

Sounds like it’s already approved isn’t it? Like, it’d never even get to the point where the sale is being announced without a lot of background stuff having already been done including I imagine some sort of investigation into new owner’s finances, background, interviews, etc.

The board of governors and Silver are most likely already fine with it. I’d be very surprised if they’ve gone public with this w/o this being 99.9% done already.

Well, there doesn’t appear to be a civil suit at the moment, and CA is a joke (resident here) when it comes to prosecution of famous people so I don’t even know if there’ll even be any criminal investigation…so I don’t know how/why he’d settle.

Are you asking if he just pays her some hush money tomorrow? It’s not like she’s doing interviews and talking about it (outside of one rando social media post) so there’s nothing to “hush”.

Even if he did pay her some hush-money (again, why?) no one would know because again…no formal legal proceedings have happened as of yet. He can stop talking about it and without any charges or lawsuits it’d just be a rando meme on r/nbacirclejerk 20 years from now.

Hubarth was fine, Mowins in the rare chance she got to get a word in was ok (only real problem is her voice is similar to Doris’), but Doris as per usual sucked.

She just seems to randomly pick one team and just gasses them up all game. Even I got tired of her sucking off the Celtics at one point, like…you know the Heat are a basketball team too right Doris? And when she wasn’t doing that she was on her usual rambling nonsense.

I’d give it to Giannis over KP tbh. I’d even go AD over KP. KP isn’t as laterally quick as I think you’d want for Wemby, at least not after all these injuries over the years.

Don’t get me wrong, obviously I hope he exceeds all expectations, but I don’t think I’m ready to put him in that top tier of defenders for what appears to be the next big talent in the NBA.
