The world is so abundant. People know people. Opportunities arise left and right.
However, why is it not more common to hear of luck stories
“Guy gets selected as supplier for a company because he knows the owner”
“Teen finds random stock and makes alot of $”
“Hoodie design just takes off on TikTok without any effort required”
Of course these stories do exist, but why not more often?
Because if getting lucky was common then it wouldn’t be luck.
Nowadays there no place for luck.
There’s sooo many people cheating their ways to success, luck ain’t enough anymore.
All those crypto bros talking about investing a 100k in a shit coin and suddenly became millionaires.
Bro how in the hack do you have 100k to invest ? Where did that came from ?
Most of this guys are daddy’s kids, sure they make millions but they started with tones of capital investment and daddy’s connections.
How do you think you can compete with that ? Luck or not you are not going to make it through this if you are not fighting every day for your spot.
You simply have a negative mindset.
This makes sense, thank you
And where does the abundance of the world come into play? Why is it so hard for the average person to stumble upon abundance?
And yes, I agree, we all have to fight for our spot
Because they’re too scared to take even small risks. They also have negative mindsets.
I feel like a lot of people don’t recognize many lucky opportunities or don’t act on them. If you’re prepared for it and analyse things then maybe you happen to notice an advertisement for a business that you know you can make yourself better. Or someone mentions knowing somebody and you realise you could start a business together etc. very rare to just stumble into something luckily without putting in the work to notice it and work on it
To me lucky is a strange word as it has to be combined with hard work. My story definitely entails luck but I saw a niche and worked hard on it and then got some very large media coverage and absolutely ran with it. I suppose I was fortunate to be at a party and met someone and between us came up with the concept. If I was not at that party, it would not of happened.
Lady Luck loves a hard working man
To go deeper on this it’s also about working smarter so your efforts compound year over year.
Luck still exists most people just don’t talk about it because so many jealous people
Its always better to be lucky than good.
The lightning striking is what people see.
You’ve gotta ionize the air first and set the stage for it to happen
You need to think of it as percentages, nothing is random. At a certain point if you keep trying, what you want, will happen.
Luck comes with consistency. Everyone who has been consistent about anything learns this fact.
My first business was 90% luck, and it was every entrepreneurs dream. All online, basically no expenses, and mostly passive once it was set up. And it was all because I did the right thing at the right time, and capitalized on a trend. There are gold mines out there, but you’re far better off working hard on something that makes sense.
Because most people either don’t see the opportunities in front of them or see them but don’t take them.
I see it every day.
Ten percent luck; Twenty percent skill; Fifteen percent concentrated power of will; Five percent pleasure; Fifty percent pain 😬
Serious question, does anyone remember that guy’s name?
He doesn’t need his name up in lights.
Fort Minor
Edit: Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park is the guy behind it.
Who the hell is he anyway, he never really talks much…
Rarely. It’s rare. I wish it wasn’t but it is
As an entrepreneur, you make your own luck I think. When a T-shirt design makes a lot if money on TikTok, that entrepreneur probably already tried out a lot of different designs. Maybe he had many failed projects.
Every sale you close is lucky, but you increase your odds of finding luck by increasing your number of pitches.
