Diontae Johnson got into a "heated" argument with Minkah Fitzpatrick in the Steelers locker room before Cameron Heyward and T.J. Watt broke up the altercation, sources told ESPN.
Diontae Johnson’s on-field frustration Sunday in Cleveland continued after the game in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ locker room, where he got into a heated argument with teammate Minkah Fitzpatrick before Cameron Heyward and T.J. Watt broke up the altercation and delivered a message that the team needed to stick together, league sources told ESPN on Saturday.
I think there comes a time in every players’ season where they start looking at their contract. Skill-position players often have incentive-laden contracts. As a receiver, you need your quarterback to not be total dogshit. Unfortunately, Diontae Johnson has a quarterback that is, in-fact, total dogshit, so he’s going to miss some of those incentives.
Johnson’s play has hardly been flawless over the years. What if a Pittsburgh QB had thrown his hands up in disgust and talked shit on Twitter after one of the many instances a ball went through Johnson’s hands or he didn’t get his feet down trying to make a sideline catch?
