Chet is the closest thing the league has seen to KD since KD entered the league. I don’t even consider him a center to be honest I see him as more of a 3 or 4.

So many people said he would be worthless against Embiid (as if every other player in the league isn’t) but anyone who actually watched him play in college knew his skill set was unique

He was a beast in high school as well. It’s easy to believe that his skinny frame won’t hold up, but I think these slimmer guys have proven time and time again that their body type works just fine for the NBA. It’s not really built around paint play anymore and has become a shooters game.

This doesn’t matter, but what’s up with this comment and u/UnableRat’s comment?

        • both comments are identical replies to the same top comment.

        • both are from accounts that were made 18 days ago

        • both only have comments from the last hour

        • both are unflaired

Brainless take. Chet’s biggest asset is his mature defensive positioning and instincts. KD was the opposite when he entered the league. You just be saying anything based on one play.

so ridiculous. Chet’s dribbling ability is pretty poor. Durant gets stripped a ton or turns it over a ton and he still has smoother handles than Chet.

you just watched one highlight and are now comparing him to another lanky guy that played in OKC.

There’s a ton of differences. There skill sets aren’t the same at all.

We won the game. The only highlights on this sub are of OKC, and the only other posts anywhere near the top are Embiid hate circles. The anti-Sixers bias on here is as blatant as the refs’ gambling ring.

On offense? That’s stupid if anyone said that lol I’ve heard on defense which was kinda true they had no answer but fouling though I think j dubs being out had a lot to do with that

I think he’s incredible but we did just see him fail to back down Chris Paul. Nothing against Chris Paul, but Chet has to be able to beat guards in the post in the future.

I remember the hype between him and Emoni Bates when both in HS. Their matchup generated a ton of hype back then. He was already very good at that time and had insane handles especially someone his size which was ridiculous. He was known for his great defense too. Knew he would be good so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise to me but he’s so poised as a rookie.
