Let me know if there are any mistakes, or if there’s something you want me to change
Was a great game to watch. Was worried Cadiz were going to play very defensively and we would struggle to break them down, but it was fairly open with chances at both ends. Many players who needed something to feel good about will be smiling after today: Rodrygo got his shooting boots back, Lunin looked better than Kepa, Ceballos is back from injury, and Gonzalo made his debut. Many of Cadiz’s players, despite the score line, looked very good. Refereeing was solid with no major mistakes or bias (though maybe that last goal should have been checked? The Kroos challenge to get the ball was rough). All in all, the game left me with a smile on my face, not just because of the win. Hope Cadiz stay up, I have a soft spot for them because of Alex Fernandez and Victor Chust, even though Ivan Alejo deserves to be launched into the segunda.
Lunin is actually better than Kepa
Fede was quietly playing great and another deserved clean sheet for Lunin.
Rodrygo and Modric strapped up - it ain’t looking good bruv
Bellingham purple patch gonna last 20 years and I’m all for it.
Comfortable game even with players looking tired and jet lagged. Rodrygo balled tonight. Even with his very dry spell and calls to bench him (me included) Carlo kept trusting him. And now he’s back to his best form. Jude great, and Fede great yet again. He puts in the work even when he’s having a “quiet” game. Also please keep putting Lunin instead of Kepa.
Easy 3 points despite our team couldn’t even bother to run and with some dreadful performances. There should be no doubts anymore on who’s the better keeper. Onto the next one
Never scrolling throu a r/realmadrid match thread again. The delusion is insane
Should’ve brought on Nico Paz earlier, man.
Rodrygo after the opening goal for the season against Bilbao had a real dry spell for about 10 matches, including this game 5 goals and 4 assist’s in the last 3 for Real Madrid, looks bang in form right now especially with the quality of goals, hopefully he’ll keep it up.
All I have to say is, Lunin is a better keeper than Kepa.
Might be a bit of a hot take but I think the cup won’t leave Madrid this season. Can’t see Real or Atletico falling behind Barça.
Another great game from Fede Valverde who goes under the radar when discussing the best players in La Liga this season. Everyone goes with Bellingham or Griezmann, but for me Valverde has been equally brilliant and just as consistent as those two.
So is Isco. So is Carvajal.
There’s lot of competition in La liga.
Anyone who blatantly says Bellingham or Griezmann is ignorant.
Racists seething after this performance by Rodrygo.
Bellingol and Rodrygoat masterclass
